  1. Day 1: Arusha to Shira Plateau/ Arusha

    Arusha → Machame Gate → Shira Plateau

    1. Pick up from your hotel in Arusha and enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to Machame Gate, one of the main entry points to Mount Kilimanjaro National Park.

    2. Arrive at Machame Gate, complete registration formalities, meet your mountain guide, and receive a briefing before starting your hiking adventure.

    3. Begin your hike through the lush montane rainforest, enjoying the fresh mountain air, unique vegetation, and opportunities to spot native birdlife along the trail as you ascend toward the higher slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.

    4. Enjoy a packed lunch and take time to relax while appreciating the spectacular mountain scenery and surrounding landscapes.

    5. Begin your descent, retracing your steps through the beautiful forest toward Machame Gate.

    6. Arrive back at Machame Gate, complete the exit formalities, and meet your driver for the return journey.

    7. Depart for Arusha, enjoying the scenic drive back to your hotel after an unforgettable Mount Kilimanjaro hiking adventure
