  1. Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater/ Arusha

    1. Depart from your hotel in Arusha for a scenic 3-hour drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area

    2. Arrive at the park, complete entry formalities, and stop at the crater rim for stunning panoramic views and photo opportunities before continuing to the descent point

    3. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a thrilling game drive. This UNESCO listed site is home to a dense wildlife population, including the Big Five; lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino. With over 400 bird species, you may also spot flamingos at Lake Magadi during the wet season. The crater’s unique ecosystem features open grasslands, forests, and diverse landscapes

    4. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, surrounded by the crater’s natural beauty

    5. Continue exploring, encountering more wildlife and soaking in the breathtaking scenery

    6. Ascend from the crater, spotting wildlife along the way, and begin the return journey to Arusha, arriving in the early evening.
